'Sorry I Gave Birth I Disappeared But Now I'm Back' is the work by Hungarian photographer Andí Galdi Vinko which was part of our 2019 group show BIRTH, curated with Charlotte Jansen. Andi approaches the almost taboo subject matter of how she found having a baby a much more difficult experience in many ways than she had been lead to believe, and how it affected her personal life ambitions and career. A book of the project will be published by Trolley Books later in 2021. In the meantime read the full interview with Andi for Vogue Italia below.
I really enjoyed reading about Andí Galdi Vinko’s project and the honest perspective she brings to such a personal topic. On a lighter note, when I’m looking for a bit of entertainment in my free time, I often play Subway Surfers — it’s a fun and relaxing way to unwind for a few minutes.
I really enjoyed this article, especially how Eaglecraft was explained in a clear and engaging way without overcomplicating things.
